For years, lamb in foodservice has been seen primarily in fine dining establishments as a rack of lamb. Yet lamb is enjoying increasing popularity in many ethnic and street food applications which appeal to a broad cross-section of consumers. Australian Lamb in particular is known as a great protein option, grass-fed, clean and green, and with an excellent food safety record.
Here is your opportunity to help bring Australian Lamb to the “mainstream” with your own creative and delicious recipe for an Australian Lamb Burger. Winners will be awarded in two categories – fine dining and casual dining/all other restaurants and institutions. Winners will be recognized at the 2010 NRA Show and win a trip to Australia. But remember, you can’t win if you don’t submit an entry. Entries are due by March 31, 2010.
